Our Story

The
Kitchen Notebook

Not a blog, not a brand — just the recipes we actually cook, written down so they don't get lost.

This notebook exists because recipes have a habit of disappearing — scribbled on the back of an envelope, half-remembered after one good cook, or lost the moment a phone gets a new screen. Every recipe here has been made, tested, adjusted, and made again until it earned its place. Nothing is included because it's trendy; it's included because it works.

The Kitchen Notebook is a collection of recipes honed through repetition, trial, and the occasional gentle swearing until a dish behaves. There are no fleeting trends here, no flashy fads — just the timeless rhythms of bread, pastry, sauces, roasts, and sweets: the techniques and flavours that endure because they simply work.

Most recipes have origins worth noting. Where a recipe is borrowed, credit is given plainly and honestly. Where there's no acknowledgment, it means the recipe has been adapted — adjusted for taste, sometimes less salt, more sugar, or just a little extra butter. This notebook captures that process, preserving each tweak and each improvement so the good stuff is never lost.

Welcome to the kitchen where tradition meets experimentation, where every recipe tells a story, and where good food is always ready, repeatable, and made with care.
